Coaching, wellbeing and practical support for when life feels difficult, complicated or overwhelming — offering space to pause, build on your strengths and find a more hopeful way forward.
The Rooted Approach
Rooted sessions are calm, collaborative, strengths-based and trauma-informed. They offer space to pause, talk things through and look at what feels difficult without being rushed or judged.
You set the agenda. Together, we can explore what is happening, what matters to you, and what might help life feel more manageable, meaningful and hopeful.
Sessions may include reflective coaching conversations, practical guidance and time to think clearly. You will not be told what to do. Instead, Rooted works in partnership with you — helping you build on your strengths, nurture your values and find a way forward that supports you to live and flourish in ways that are meaningful to you.
Wellbeing Reset Session 🌿

Wellbeing Coaching Sessions 🌿
More ongoing and in-depth coaching conversations around wellbeing, confidence, values, balance and living well.
Sessions offer space to reflect, build on your strengths and explore positive, realistic changes over time — helping you find a way forward that feels meaningful, positive and grounded in everyday life.
60-75 mins, available as individual sessions or in blocks of 4.
Finding Your Feet After Diagnosis🌿
A 2 session package for people adjusting to a mental health diagnosis, or for family members wanting to understand and support well.
Across 2 x 90-minute sessions, with time for Rachel to research relevant resources between sessions. We can explore what the diagnosis may mean for everyday life and what might help you move forward, whether that be information, advice or signposting.
Rooted keeps the focus on you as a whole person — your strengths, values, relationships, hopes and the life you want to live.
Finding Your Way Forward🌿
A one-off 60 or 90 minute session for when there is a lot going on, and you are not sure where to start.
This session offers time to offload what you are carrying, gently think through what matters most, and begin to identify priorities, needs and possible next steps in a way that feels realistic and sustainable.
The length can be agreed together depending on what feels manageable and useful.
Practical One-Off Support🌿
A one-off 60 or 90-minute session focused on a specific practical issue, task or decision.
This may include support with DWP forms, paperwork, preparing for appointments, thinking through options, finding resources, or more detailed signposting where needed.
The length can be agreed together depending on what feels manageable and useful.
Practical Coaching Support🌿
A small number of sessions combining coaching conversations with practical support in everyday situations.
This may be helpful if you want to build confidence, independence or routine, but taking the step alone feels too much at the moment. For example, this could include planning and practising a real-life activity such as going for a coffee, attending an appointment, using public transport or reconnecting with a community space.
Available by discussion where appropriate. Sessions are tailored and priced individually depending on what is needed.
Not sure which support fits?
You are welcome to get in touch even if you are not sure where to start, or if things feel complicated, stressful or hard to explain.
The service options are there as a guide. We can talk together about what you need and what kind of support might feel useful.
Caring can involve practical decisions, changing relationships, difficult emotions, uncertainty and a great deal of responsibility.
Rooted offers calm, practical and thoughtful support for carers and families navigating dementia and mental illness— helping you understand what is happening, think through options, communicate more confidently and protect your own wellbeing along the way.
You do not need to be at breaking point or know exactly what support you need before getting in touch.
Finding Your Way After Dementia Diagnosis 🌿
A two session package for people and families adjusting after a dementia diagnosis.
Across two 90-minute sessions, with time for Rachel to research relevant resources between sessions, we can explore what the diagnosis may mean for everyday life, the questions or decisions you are facing, and what may help you move forward.
The sessions consider the whole picture around the person — their wishes, strengths, relationships and practical needs, alongside the wellbeing and circumstances of family members and others involved.
This may include information, future planning, communication, support options, practical next steps and space to think about what matters most to everyone involved.
Support with Dementia Communication & Distress 🌿
A focused session for carers and families wanting support with difficult communication, anxiety, distress or changes in relationships.
We can explore what may be happening beneath the surface, what the person may be trying to communicate, and how you might respond in ways that feel calmer, safer and more manageable for everyone involved.
This may include repeated questions, wanting to go home, resistance to care or personal hygiene, anxiety, confusion, or changes in the relationship.
The session is shaped around your real-life situations, with practical ideas and approaches you can try.
A Space for Carers to Breathe 🌿
A one-off 90-minute wellbeing session offering space to pause, offload some of what you are carrying and focus on you.
Together, we can explore how caring is affecting your wellbeing, reconnect with what matters to you and identify realistic changes that may help you live well alongside your responsibilities.
The session follows your agenda and may help you protect your wellbeing and reduce the risk of carer burnout.
Carers Support & Wellbeing Package 🌿
A two session package for carers who want more than a one-off pause, but are not looking for longer-term coaching.
Across two sessions, there is space to offload, reflect on how caring is affecting you, reconnect with what matters beyond the caring role, and explore realistic ways to protect your wellbeing.
The package can also be purchased as a gift for a carer, offering them dedicated time and support focused entirely on them.
Carers Wellbeing Coaching 🌿
More ongoing, in-depth coaching for carers who want to protect their wellbeing, reconnect with themselves and make positive, sustainable changes over time.
Sessions can explore areas such as identity, values, confidence, boundaries, routines, relationships and how to live well alongside caring responsibilities.
This support may also be helpful after a caring role has ended, offering space to reconnect with yourself, adjust to change and explore what you want the next chapter of life to look like.
The sessions follow your agenda, with space to focus on what matters most to you.
Available as individual 60 or 75-minute sessions, or in blocks of 4.
Practical One-Off Dementia & Carer Support 🌿
A one off 60 or 90-minute session focused on a particular question, task or decision relating to dementia or caring.
This may include help to think through care options, prepare for appointments or assessments, understand available support, complete forms, find relevant resources, or explore practical next steps.
The session is shaped around what you need, with detailed signposting or further research where this would be helpful.
The length can be agreed together depending on what feels manageable and useful.

Sessions combine professional knowledge, lived experience and practical reflection, helping people better understand the human realities behind these subjects and consider how they can respond with greater confidence, compassion and care.
Each session can be shaped around your organisation, audience, aims and time available.
The Rooted style
Rooted sessions are warm, thoughtful and conversation-based. They combine professional knowledge, lived experience and practical reflection, with space for people to ask questions, share perspectives and think about what the subject means in real life.
The aim is not to deliver a lecture or overwhelm people with information, but to create an engaging, respectful space where people can reflect, learn and leave with greater understanding, confidence and practical ideas.
Wellbeing Workshops 🌿
Practical, reflective sessions exploring wellbeing, pressure, boundaries, sustainable ways of working and living well. These can be adapted for staff teams, caring professionals, community groups or charities.
Lived Experience Talks 🌿
Warm, honest and thought-provoking sessions drawing on Rachel’s professional and personal experience of mental health, dementia and caring. Suitable for workplaces, conferences, community groups, carers groups and charities.
Dementia & Carer Awareness 🌿
Sessions helping people better understand the realities of dementia and caring, including how these experiences can affect relationships, wellbeing, family life and work.
Reflective Sessions for Caring Professionals 🌿
For teams in health, social care, education, charities and community services who want space to reflect on the emotional impact of their work and think about how to sustain themselves well.
Bespoke Conversation-Based Training 🌿
Tailored sessions shaped around the needs of your organisation, team or group, using discussion, practical examples and real-life reflection rather than lecture-style training.
Training with Follow-Up Coaching 🌿
Training can be even more effective when people have time afterwards to reflect on what they have learned and apply it to their own role, wellbeing or circumstances.
Talks, workshops and training can therefore be combined with individual follow-up coaching, helping participants embed the learning, explore what it means for them personally and identify practical next steps.
Shaped Around Your Organisation 🌿
Sessions can be delivered online or in person and adapted to suit staff wellbeing, carer awareness, inclusion, community learning or professional development aims.
You are welcome to get in touch to discuss your audience, what you would like the session to achieve and what format may work best.
